They’ve been letting go of loads of employees from the company my dad works for every week because of our shiteous economy. If he loses his job, we’re pretty much fucked. My mom works, but doesn’t make nearly as much money as my dad. Her job is pretty much only to give her something to do during the day. My dad’s been talking about moving out of town, possibly even to Alberta, because there’s so much work there.
At least I have college next year as an excuse not to go with them if they do decide to do that. Plus, I’ll be 18 and able to live on my own, and rent a place or something. But I’M definitely not moving.
